NSK students secure top three positions in Bharat Ko Jano examination

JAMMU, SEPT 3: Students of Naveen Shiksha Kendra, Bari Brahmana, secured all three top positions in the Bharat Ko Jano All India Written Examination 2026, with Shubham Kumar securing first position, Gudiya Devi second and Adarsh Singh third.
The examination was conducted through the Jammu chapter at two centres — Manu Shiksha Kendra Higher Secondary School, Raj Bagh, Kathua, and Humanity Public Higher Secondary School, Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana.
At Manu Shiksha Kendra, 39 students appeared for the examination. At Humanity School, 138 students appeared, including 68 students of the host school and 70 students from nine other schools.
The participating schools included Heritage School, Sainik Colony; Little Flower Higher Secondary School, Sainik Colony; J.K. Public School, Kunjwani; Cybernetic Secondary School, Bandhu Rakh, Kunjwani; Jammu Sanskriti School; Government High School, Greater Kailash; Bal Shishu Shiksha Kendra School, Kalu Chack; Naveen Shiksha Kendra School, Bari Brahmana; and R.S. Public School, Krishna Nagar, Jammu.
Students from the participating schools performed well, with some securing 80 to 90 per cent marks. The examination was conducted smoothly and in a disciplined manner, with the administrations, teachers and staff of the participating schools extending cooperation.
The successful conduct of the examination was also supported by Pratiba Priyadarshini Dutta, Jyoti Dutta, Baldev Dutta and Deepak Sharma, who were associated with the conduct of the examination.
The achievement of the three students from Naveen Shiksha Kendra, Bari Brahmana, with all three securing the top three positions, was a notable highlight of this year’s examination.
