GCW Bhagwati Nagar organises Tiranga Rally

JAMMU, AUGUST 13: The NSS Unit Veerangna of Government College for Women (GCW), Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu today organised a vibrant Tiranga Rally as part of the ongoing celebrations leading up to Independence Day.
The rally was organised under the guidance of Principal Dr. Shalini Sharma, with enthusiastic participation from NSS volunteers and students of the college. The initiative aimed to inculcate a strong sense of patriotism, national pride and unity among students while spreading the message of “Har Ghar Tiranga.”
Carrying the Tricolour with pride and enthusiasm, students raised patriotic slogans and conveyed messages of unity, integrity and responsibility towards the nation. The rally reflected the spirit of patriotism and national consciousness among the younger generation.
Principal Dr. Shalini Sharma appreciated the efforts of the NSS Unit and volunteers in organising the rally and encouraged students to uphold the values enshrined in the Constitution and contribute positively towards nation-building.
The event was coordinated by NSS Programme Officer Dr. Preeti Salathia.
The rally also witnessed active participation from faculty members, including Dr. Neeraj Verma, Nodal Officer, Viksit Bharat; Prof. Nusrat Kouser, Nodal Officer, Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan; Prof. Nisha Bhagat, Convenor, IQAC; Dr. Mosmi Raina; Dr. Poonam Kumari; and Dr. Kamaldeep Singh, besides other teaching and non-teaching staff, NSS volunteers and students.
The rally concluded with a renewed pledge to uphold the dignity and honour of the National Flag and promote the ideals of unity, patriotism and national integration in the spirit of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.”
