APS Jammu Cantt wins Inter APS Cluster-1 English Debate Competition

JAMMU, SEPTEMBER 22: Army Public School Jammu Cantt secured the first position in the Inter APS Cluster-1 English Debate Competition held at Army Public School Miran Sahib.

The competition saw enthusiastic participation from eight Army Public Schools of Cluster-1, with students debating the topic, “AI Will Take Over Jobs in the Future.” The discussion focused on the opportunities and challenges associated with Artificial Intelligence and its potential impact on employment and the future of work.

Representing Army Public School Jammu Cantt, Simranjeet Singh and Prachi Sharma impressed the judges with their confidence, eloquence and clarity of thought. Gurseerat Kaur, who participated as the interjector, complemented the team with her sharp questions and confident participation.

Adding to the school’s achievement, Prachi Sharma of Class XII was adjudged Best Speaker for her performance. Her articulation, confidence and arguments earned appreciation from the judges.

The Principal congratulated the winning team and the English Department, appreciating their efforts towards nurturing critical thinking, effective communication and confident public speaking skills among students.
