Shri Amarnath Yatra crosses 4 lakh pilgrim mark

SRINAGAR, July 26: The ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2026 crossed a major milestone on Sunday, with more than 4 lakh pilgrims completing the annual pilgrimage to the holy cave shrine in the south Kashmir Himalayas.

According to official figures, 4.14 lakh devotees have paid obeisance at the shrine so far during this year’s yatra.

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, in a post on X, expressed gratitude to Lord Shiva for the successful conduct of the pilgrimage. He thanked all stakeholders associated with the yatra for ensuring a safe, smooth and spiritually fulfilling experience for the devotees.

The annual pilgrimage to the revered cave shrine continues amid elaborate security and logistical arrangements made by the administration.
