LG Manoj Sinha attends Harbah Festival in Anantnag

SRINAGAR, July 26: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday attended the annual Harbah Festival at Teerathraj Lok Bhawan in Anantnag, where he paid obeisance to Mata Sidh Lakshmi and extended greetings to devotees participating in the annual Hawan.

Addressing the gathering, Manoj Sinha described the Harbah Festival as a symbol of devotion, gratitude and India’s rich spiritual heritage. He said the sacred shrine represents the enduring values of Sanatan culture and continues to inspire people towards truth, compassion, harmony and selfless service.

Highlighting the importance of spiritual values in today’s fast-paced world, the Lieutenant Governor said true devotion is reflected through service to humanity, mutual respect and selfless love. He stressed that mental and spiritual well-being should receive equal importance alongside physical health and urged the youth of Jammu and Kashmir to remain connected with their cultural heritage while embracing modern education.

“True knowledge is realised through humility, and its strength becomes sacred when used in the service of others,” he said.

The function was attended by senior civil and police officials, members of the Teerathraj Sidh Lakshmi Peeth Trust, religious leaders and a large number of devotees.
